Lets start with 'RESURRECTION REMIX ROM' before starting i have to tell you resurrection rom is my favorite as well as best stable rom for rn3.best for daily drive.its based on cm[cyanogen mod] and mm[marshmallow android 6.x]
SO NOW LETS START,THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF RR ROM AVAILABLE FOR RN3 SD VERSION:-

"STEPS FOR FLASHING"
- You must have twrp recovery installed.
- download rom and gapps and paste both in your sd card.
- boot into twrp recovery
- take full backup[use alka twrp-recommended]
- after taking backup go to wipe section.
- wipe data/cache/dalvik cache,go to advanced and wipe system.
- after it press back and click on install and select rom zip and flash.
- after flashing rom dont reboot,hit back and flash gapps
- after flashing gapps reboot to system
- it will ask you to disable stock recovery.slide and disable it.
- wait for 5-10mins for bootup.
- if somethimg goes wrong or you ended up with a bootloop go to recovery again by holding vol+ and power button,and restore your backup.
