After unlocking bootloader lets flash twrp and root rn3 for using awesome apps like titanium backup,lucky patcher and most of all get ready to be a superuser.

PREREQUISITES:-

Download all!

STEPS:-

"FIRST OF ALL DON’T BLAME ME OR ANY DEV FOR BRICKS OR BOOTLOOPS"

1)Paste super su zip and lazy flasher zip in ur device sd card and turn ur device off.Vol- and power button for entering fastboot mode.after it attach your device via usb cable to pc.After it all pc work.

2)Create a new folder name whatever u want.paste adb folder and twrp recovery in it.Rename twrp recovery to “twrp” only without quotes.and copy twrp img in adb folder.

3)After it open adb folder and press hold shift+right mouse button and open command prompt window here.

4)After that write “fastboot devices” without quotes and hit enter to check your device is attached or not or drivers perfectly installed or not.if it shows words like bde9b61 etc that means your device is connected via fastboot.

5) Now type “fastboot flash recovery twrp.img” without quotes and hit enter.

6) After it remove your cable from phone and press hold volume+ and power button until mi logo appears after it leave buttons and you will see team win logo there and that means you have successfully flashed twrp.

7)After it backup your phone via twrp(for safety).

8)Now click on install,install zip via sd card and flash swipe super su zip.

9) Immediately again click on install and flash swipe lazy flasher zip.

10)Now reboot your phone and install root checker app to check your phone is rooted or not!

Kudos u have successfully rooted your rn3 now you’re a superuser of your device.

First of all we need to unlock boot loader..there's 2 way to unlock your bootloader--

1.official way{recommended}

2.unofficial way{risky and kinda tricky}

--OFFICIAL WAY--

well i suggest you to use 64 bit pc because miunlock tools works well with 64bit!

STEPS:-

• first you need to apply here for getting permission from xiaomi  http://en.miui.com/unlock/ it will take 6-7 days for getting approval{open link in desktop version}

• after getting approval download adb drivers and mi pc suite setup[link down there].Intsall both.open usb debugging in your phone and connect it to pc for once.After it reboot your pc.

• after it download "mi unlock tool"[link down there] and extract zip.Open it and login with same account which you used to send request for unlocking your boot loader.after that it will show a screen like connect your phone to pc.

• now,go to settings in your phone and enable usb debugging option and oem device unlock option.after that switch off your phone and press vol- and power button until a bunny appears on your screen.

• you're in fastboot mode now connect your device with pc via cable and hit unlock button!it will take 1-2 mins and your bootloader is succesfully unlocked.

THINGS TO KEEP IN YOUR MIND:-

• You need a active internet connection for unlocking.

• If your device is not connecting when you're in fastboot mode then install drivers properly.

• Use 64bit pc{recommended}

50% ERROR ISSUE OR NOT VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT ISSUE:-

well everything is easy huh?nope because while unlocking your gonna face 50% error issue mostly times. for fixing that follow below steps[not 100% sure thats gonna work]

• in my opinion wait for 6-7 days after getting permission bcz of mi servers.it will take sometime to upgrade their servers and add your device in list so be patient.

• try daily.never give up just try[got my phone unlocked on 6th day as well :P]

• before trying. go to i.mi.com and sign up with same account there use your phone number all time to login. locate your device from there and make sure your device is showing "online" there.

• for locating your device open your mi account in your phone and go to cloud option and enable find device.

As we are rooted our redmi note 3 earlier and flashed twrp,Now its time to understand difference between twrp[official],twrp[cofface] and twrp[alka].

1.TWRP OFFICIAL-

Twrp official is the same recovery we have used to flash super su and lazy flasher earlier.Its official team win recovery that can flash any roms.but less secure in terms of taking backup and less in features.

2.TWRP COFFACE-

Twrp cofface is a modded twrp.Quite handy in terms of reverting back to miui roms without flashing any patched boot img you can easily revert back to your stock miui.

3.TWRP ALKA-

Twrp alka is a modded twrp as well quite handy in flashing cm based roms and marshmallow based roms. in which there are many chances of losing imei,baseband and etc.

Before starting,we have to understand why we are facing this issue.simple as that mostly all roms are based on leaked marshmallow os now a days.doesnt matter its aosp or cm or xosp every single rom is based on leaked mm so as long as you move from leaked mm to another leaked or changed mm,you will face this problem.

"STEPS TO FIX THAT PISSING ERROR"

There are 2 ways to fix that problem,first you have to flash miui7 back running on lollipop via mi flash[pc] after that unlock your bootloader again,flash twrp and clean flash that rom.so you will not face that fc.But this method is too much big and time consuming.

             

Second one is easy and reliable[thanks @banmeifuwant for that] just flash cm13 radios zip before flashing the rom. paste rom you wanna flash,cm13 radios zip[gapps,xgapps] in your sd card.boot into twrp,take backup and wipe data/cache/dalivk/system.After wiping go to install section and flash cm13 radios zip first after flashing that,dont reboot and flash rom and gapps[xgapps if your using xosp] and reboot into system!!

STEPS FOR FLASHING:-

Visit the thread mentioned above and go to "xposed zip" download section and download

sdk23/arm64/xposed v85-sdk23-arm64.zip and paste in your sd card.

For safety download uninstaller too from "xposed uninstaller zip" and download uninstaller/arm64.zip and paste that too in your sd card.

Download "xposed installer apk" [attached in that xda thread] and paste that in your sd card or anywhere you want.

NOW,HOW TO FLASH[STEPS]:-

• You must have twrp recovery installed any will work.
• Your phone must be rooted.
• Boot into twrp recovery and take backup first for safety!
• after taking backup go to install section and choose xposed-v85-sdk23-arm64.zip
• flash that zip and reboot into system,it will take 5-10 mins or more to bootup so dont  interrupt the process.
• After you booted up in system,install xposed installer apk and open it grant root permission.
• And check framework,if it says v85 is active that means you have successfully flashed the xposed.

Now install your modules,tick them and enjoy!!
